note: there are two builds of the game available: the downloadable version, which is fully functional with correct lighting and colors, and the web version, which is functional but has lighting and color issues that may affect the visual experience. for the best experience, the downloadable version is recommended.

a prototype of a Lovecraftian-themed management and simulation game. by selling the plants we grow in our greenhouse to our customers, we open new plants, customer types, and developments.

overgrown is based on five basic mechanics. 

seed planting: the player begins the game by planting seeds from an endless seed store in empty pots.

irrigation:  The player fills the watering can with blood from a barrel on the field and must water each plant once after planting.

harvesting:  the player must harvest plants on time for the customer, or they’ll become "overgrown" causing problems.

overgrown:  the game's standout feature is the “overgrown” mechanic. if the player doesn’t harvest in time, the plant enters the overgrown stage and activates its unique trait.

selling:  the player delivers plants to customers, earns money, pays rent, and buys upgrades.

how to play? press "E" to take items (seeds, watering can, plants).

press "Q" to place items (seeds, watering can, plants).
